My Actifit Report Card: September 11 2025.........Throwback Thursday ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐ป,
Happy Thursday ๐ and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye ๐.
So without much further ado let's take it away ๐จ.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty cloudy and windy as I made my way around.
It was a little cooler compared to yesterday.
Later on after about an hour or so, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was still a little cloudy as I left for my sunset ๐ walk. Though the sun shot through say around 4pm to 5pm.
Then it rained a bit heavy later on this evening, good thing I had carried my umbrella.
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing๐น.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, the mass murder went on with 53 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes๐ฟ. Whole tower blocks are being targeted in Gaza city.
Israel is forcing people to move to the south as they do the most to bomb out Gaza city.
Meanwhile, regional leaders descended on Doha, Qatar in solidarity as funerals were held for five Hamas members and one Qatari security official killed in Tuesday's Israeli attack.
In New York, the UN security council held an emergency meeting to discuss that attack. Many countries have condemned Israel's action of carrying out an attack on a sovereign nation.
In the other war, Russian drone strikes hit a school in the town of Sumy in Ukraine.
Still in Europe, UK trending as PM Keir Starmer sacked UK's ambassador to the US, Lord Peter Mandelson. This after old emails emerged in which Mandelson was sympathizing and showing support to convicted pedophile, Jeffery Epstein๐.
He probably thought he deleted them.
Across the pond in the US, a manhunt is on for the sniper that killed Charlie Kirk in Utah yesterday. An image of the shooter is out and the rifle he used was found too. It's just a matter of time before he will be apprehended.
A video was circulating on social media in which Charlie is heard saying it was worth it for some people to die from gun violence๐.
Finally, Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been sentenced to 27 years and three months in prison, shortly after a majority of a Supreme Court panel voted to convict him on charges related to an attempted military coup๐.
Today, four out of five of the justices had found Bolsonaro guilty of trying to illegally retain power after his 2022 electoral defeat to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Lets wait and see how things turn out in the coming days.
So that was Thursday and I thank you for reading. Let's hook up tomorrow on a high five Friday as we look forward to the weekend.
Stay safe, take care and good bye โค๏ธ. Hakuna Matata ๐ป
