My Actifit Report Card: September 18 2025............Throwback Thursday ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐ป,
Happy Thursday ๐ and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye ๐.
So without much further ado let's get into that and more ๐จ.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty sunny ๐ and windy as I made my way around the park.
Though it got a bit cloudy at some point.
Later on after about an hour or so, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
I had some errand to run at the city centre, so I did that and got back home
In the evening it was still sunny as I left for my sunset ๐ walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing๐น.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas kept going resulting as always resulting in deaths across the strip๐ฟ.
Israel is slowly turning Gaza into a lifeless wasteland as the assault continues.
I didn't hear about the other war in Ukraine but UK trending as Trump met PM Keir Starmer after yesterday's banquet with King Charles.
They held a presser with the media where they answered questions form journalists. Trump advising the PM to use any means necessary including military to stop migrants arriving by boats๐.
When asked about the sacked Mandelson, Trump said he didn't know him๐น.
They definitely didn't agree on Palestine as UK and other European countries are about to recognize a Palestinian state, though he insisted, a state where Hamas will not be in charge.
Speaking of Palestine, across the pond in the US, UN trending as a security council meeting failed to adopt a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza after a veto by USA๐.
It s the 6th time the US has blocked a resolution on Gaza, this means no end to the bombardment and the famine, more deaths of civilians upcoming๐ฟ.
Finally, ABC has suspended Jimmy Kimmel late night show , Jimmy usually has comical views on the goings on in politics, mostly aimed at Trump and govt. His talk on Charlie Kirk's shooter being part of the right touched the wrong nerve๐น. ABC under pressure from Govt decided to suspend the entire show indefinitely.
The ladies of the View decided not to even mention that Jimmy issue as they could be next on the chopping board. Free speech indeed๐น.
So that was Thursday and I thank you for reading. Let's hook up tomorrow on a high five Friday as we look forward to the weekend.
