My Actifit Activity Log [09.24.2018]

Today was a day packed with steps. Got up early to collect an #AutomaticWin which I achieved at 9:28am. (See bellow for details on what an #AutomaticWin is. As well, please note that I will post my screen capture in the morning.)

The weather outdoors has improved a lot from the weekend. It was sunny instead of snowy. The sun poked up over the horizon and I greeted the day with a smile.

After my walk I went to the gym to film my final attempt at a personal best for the @Actifit Plank Challenge. I’m quite pleased with the results but you’ll have to check back tomorrow morning to find out how long I managed to hold my plank for! 😁

I’m looking forward to watching all of your plank videos! Because I have pushed my limits it will be fun to watch you all push yours!

So yeah! Other than that the rest of my day was filled with chores, errands, driving around, etc. (Just the regular stuff my day requires.)

Once the plank challenge is finished I plan of finding out what my walk to run ratio is. (More about that in the near future!)

I’m off to bed now! Videos to edit and post in the morning!

HOW DO I GO FOR AN #AUTOMATICWIN?

A Vipassana meditation 🧘‍♀️ course. That seems pretty interesting! It’s the opposite of getting steps but it’s the sort of thing that puts down roots for you mind and spirit to enable an even more focused life (and that includes workouts). Good for you @amico!

So many people think that taking care of themselves is all about the catabolic process. The tearing down process. It’s what’s featured in marking and advertising all the time so who can blame them. Meditation falls into the anibolic or restorative activities.

I believe that people (myself included) need to spend more time in active recovery. So that’s great that your taking this course!
