I agree with you 100%. My cousin was bitten when we were kids and for years they didn't know what he had even though he was bedridden with unknown causes on again off again. This is unusual for any kid and they didn't diagnose him forever!

What a devastatingly long time but even after they diagnosed him, there was little in the way of treatment at the time.

We've come a long way - and yet. Not enough.
