First New Car

It was blue and shiny.
I felt like I was in a spaceship when I first sat in it.
With blue internal lights and aerodynamic exterior I could propel myself to new adventures.
The unpleasant two hours came later with paperwork and money leaving my account.
I didn't care much about the money because I had a new car at long last.

I drove home in the rain and with low visibility.
I was scared I might crash in this new car with less than 100 miles.
This new car took me to work and on hiking adventures.
The most fun Ive ever had was on long drives in Big Sur.
I want to repeat this new car nirvana over and over again.
