RE: Redes neuronales, ¿Quién es realmente el autor de las piezas de arte generadas por la IA?
I wont take AI-generated images or music as art. :) Not even "digital art". It is simply image or music.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi, @aneukpineung78
Dear friend, I forgot to thank you for inviting me to this contest.
Your contribution led me to realize that detail was missing from my argument. AI technology (particularly that aimed at the visual arts and also music) creates or generates products. Up to this point, I completely agree with you.
I'm beginning to disagree that they cannot be considered art. Just because of the level of mass adoption of such technologies, it's possible that at least one person will come to appreciate them as artistic productions. 🤔 A topic open to many interpretations.
Our friend @weisser-rabe, points this out when she begins to characterize them as products: with a generic aesthetic, too perfect, creating or lacking "humanity." I would add "mass-produced."
I consider it important to take that position into account, as well as yours about not considering them art.
Now, my curiosity kicks in, as I'd like to hear more:
What reasons lead you to adopt this position? Is there any value(s) behind it?
And
What would have to happen to these products, so that at some point it occurred to you to consider them art?
Please, see me more as a curious inquirer seeking to learn from you.
Hugs, friend.
Okay, I get you. Some hours ago I danced to a great techno music my friend played on his PC, I just got to know it was AI-generated. Darn it! I guess AI is killing human artists.. Hahaha.
