Doesn't seem questionable to me, rather logical. The ‘creator’ of the underlying algorithms, the code and the network infrastructure is actually responsible for the results, including those of an artistic nature. Just as I would hold him accountable for the existential bullshit his AI produces, I would give him a share of all the revenue generated with his help...
