One of the largest airport duty free shopping - Part 2

Yesterday I shared some pictures of the Istanbul duty free shopping area, continuing with it today. Let me share some more of it. This place you can call the Bahnhofstrasse of Istanbul. Bahnhofstrasse is the famous and very expensive shopping street in Zurich and I feel this place is the same, you will find almost all top brands here. I find the airport duty free expensive, maybe they are not and it is just about the big brands that are displayed there and I am not a fan of brands. I only like to see them and not buy them.

The good part of this Airport duty free shopping is that as you complete all the security check and immigration procedures and you enter the duty free area, there is North and South area and lot of brands have their shops on both the sides, so for the person who has to travel to the north side terminals they can get almost everything that is available on the south side.

Even if I would have loads of money and in a position to buy these big brands I would not probably, because of my middle-class mentality. I have been brought up that way and I cannot change myself on that part. Today in my life I am in a very comfortable position financially but still I do check the price tag before picking up anything. I value money because it's not come easy to me, me and hubby have both struggled a lot to raise ourselves up financially so for me value for money is very important no matter how much ever money I have. But that does not mean I do not enjoy luxury, something I do spend on where I feel it's giving me some worth and that's always more in terms of experience like feasting in a fine-dining restaurant and visiting a high-end resort. For me personally more then things, experience matters. Things get worn out with time and you replace them but experiences become life long memories. Also, I believe that if I buy one expensive bag and then carry it everywhere, it has no charm in it after a few times of use. Rather I can buy something cheap in variety and change it with matching outfits :-)

A lot of these shops have very good decor. This is all I like to see and take ideas for my home decor.

At one point of time in my life I was crazy for watches and bought many, but now I have almost stopped wearing a watch. I do not like to wear it anymore, rather in it's place I prefer to wear my crystal bracelets.

We have a LC Waikiki store in Muscat and the size of it is one fourth then this one. I was thinking to myself that in a proper mall the store is smaller then the airport one, whereas it should have been reverse.
