Kadbel photography.
Assalamualaikum.
Hello everyone. How are you all? I am fine by the grace of almighty. Hope you are also fine.
Kadbel is a well-known sweet and sour fruit, which is quite popular especially in rural areas. However, now this fruit has become easily available in city markets as well. Kadbel is especially seen being sold in vans on the side of the road. These kadbel are usually underripe or semi-ripe, which are sweet and sour to eat and very tasty.
The sellers cut the kadbel and rub it with salt, pepper, chaat masala, mustard oil, etc. Sometimes dry chili or green chili is also chopped. All the ingredients are mixed and shaken well with a stick and handed over to the buyer. In this way, each spicy kadbel is sold for 20-30 taka. Kadbel prepared in this way is not only tasty, but also helps in increasing digestion.
Selling this kadbel has now become popular as a small-scale street business. It can be started with little capital and the profit is not bad. There is good demand for this business on the side of the road, in front of schools and colleges, at market intersections. Many young people are making a living doing this. This type of street food is not only changing people's tastes, but also showing a way to generate alternative income at low cost.
