I like the quiet beauty and wonder that is Christmas, I will admit I have my secret love affair with the magic that is Christmas at times.....but it tends to be drown out by my hate for consumerism and family meladrama. I think if I had my own children or grandkids I would warm to the holidays more...as it stands it just makes me feel lonely in a see of happy faces.
This time of year I like to think of how soon spring will be coming back around. Remember, not all of those "happy faces" you see are reflecting from a happy person inside. Loneliness can become a source of motivation if channeled correctly, perhaps your greatest work is lying right under the surface as we speak.
