My TrailCam Update: Squirrels, Deer, and Raccoons for Days
This week, nature dealt us a curveball as a Nor'Easter storm came through and knocked down a few trees. It wasn't THAT big of a storm, but after days and days of rain, the wind was rough. Nonetheless, it was business as usual on the TrailCams.
I've noticed that the camera receives a ton of visits from our squirrel friends, so I figured, why not devote a complete hour and a half video to them? The furry lil' tree rats are actually quite entertaining.
Camera 1 saw tons of action this week, while Camera 2 experienced technical difficulties. I'm not sure if my card is corrupted or if I made an error, but it was completely empty when I checked it. Not even I was on it, walking away, which is suspect. That led to no camera 2 uploads this week from the field, but I promise I'll get that back up and going.
The raccoons really love the spot. The lil' masked avengers have become my top visitors.
I've set camera 1 to record 1080p videos only at night from this point forward while I wait for my solar panels (which are still on backorder). The cost of batteries is becoming increasingly unaffordable. Thanks for reading!
Thank you!
