The Men Who Built America: History Channel Series (8 Full Episodes)
The History Channel went the extra mile with this series, and the quality remains consistent from episode one all the way through to the end of episode eight. It's directed by Patrick Reams and Ruán Magan and narrated by Campbell Scott. The series was originally released in 2012 and focuses on the lives of Cornelius Vanderbilt, John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, J. P. Morgan, and Henry Ford.
I recently watched all eight hours and enjoyed the in-depth process they took with it. It's uploaded to YouTube in eight parts, each providing a distinct perspective on the overall story.

Related: You might also like American Dynasty, on Fox Business Channel. I haven't watched every episode, but I've enjoyed the ones that I've seen. (The Post episode and the Hearst episode have been my favorites so far.)
I meant to come back to this comment sooner... it appears that those two series are at least slightly connected, as the narrator is the same and the first season shares a lot of the same info. I liked the Hearst episode the most, and I had no clue that the guy who had a character BASED on him in Deadwood had that much of a past/history connection. Thank you for sharing this...hoping they'll come out with a third season.
🎉 Congratulations!
