INHALTSANGABE:
Detective Stan Aubray (Willem Dafoe) ermittelt mit seinem Kollegen Carl (Scott Speedman) in einer Mordserie. Diese ähnelt der Handschrift eines Psychopathen, den Stan Jahre zuvor gestellt hat: Der brutale Serienkiller erschafft mit der Leiche seines Opfers am Tatort ein bizarres Kunstwerk. Damit ahmt er eine in der Malerei verwendete Technik nach, in der zwei scheinbar zusammenhangslose Motive ein Gesamtbild ergeben, wenn man sie aus einer bestimmten Perspektive betrachtet. Und Stan muss bald alles in Frage stellen, um nicht selbst das nächste Opfer zu werden…
