Bald Eagle - Bishop's Beach, Homer, AK

I was lucky enough to encounter this curious bald eagle last summer. He let me get less than five feet away from him before flying off! Bald eagles can be extremely curious animals. Sometimes I'll see them come and swoop up salmon carcasses I just filleted, flying right over my head. They really are magnificent :)
