How are you. I hope you people of steemian are good and enjoy your life . Well I am well. May God bless you all. Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S25- W1: which is all time my favourite topic Drawing kodomo anime. this amazing challenge organised by @jesusnunez . So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

Today the topic of the competition is to draw a cartoon character. So I have chosen Pikachu cartoon character. Which is a squirrel. I have not watched any cartoons in my childhood, but I have watched a lot of cartoons with my children. To be honest, I still like to watch many of them.

The materials that will be required for making a portrait are as follows

A4 sheet
Sharpener
Eraser
Pencil
Colour

Step 1

First I started drawing the head of the cartoon on A4 sheet, for which I made a C-shaped shape.

Then in the same way I made an inverted C in the other direction. In this way the shape of his face and head was ready.

Then I made his horns and 1/4th part of those horns I made dark black by shading.

Step 3

Then I gave a half circle shape to make his eyes, nose, lips and both cheeks puffed.

Then I made his hands, which are touching his face and made fingers.

After this, I gave the shape of his body by touching it with fingers.

I drew both of them in legs and the tail. The tail is in a light zigzag shape. In this way, Pikachu was ready in five steps.

After drawing it completely, I started colouring it. Only two to three colours are needed for this, red and yellow, for the black outline.

I drew the entire body of Pikachu in yellow colour, I outlined it in black colour and I made a half circle on the cheeks to show puffy cheeks.

I highlighted it in red colour and then I also used a little red colour in the tail. Pikachu looked very beautiful after colouring.

Finally, I took a selfie with Pikachu.

Due to this competition, I am getting a chance to draw a lot. I had kept the colours because even children do not know how to colour. I have taken out that colour box and kept it. My children also say that Mummy has become busy in drawing these days. Now it seems that I am doing something for myself.
