Mount Batur on the left side, a not active Vulcano, Batur Lake, and Mount Abang. ...
... When I first saw this magnificent scenery i was under the impression of looking at a photorealistic painting. On the foothills of Mount Abang lies the Trunyan Village, home of the Bali Aga, the indigenious people of Bali, which I wanted to visit due to their unique funeral rites where they put the dead bodies in open bamboo cages under the banyan tree, known as the nice smelling tree, which removes the putrid smell of the corpses. Our guide was too afraid to go there with us though, so the only way is to go there by ferry and get a guide on site. Maybe next time.
