... are those big nasty frogs that spray a nerve poison when you get too close.

I've already seen dogs fidgeting for minutes. They literally collapse when the sensitive snout comes into contact with the poison.

Okay, so I transported the frog to the next bush, including the doormat, and went with the dog.

Of course, here in Panama right at the next corner, a 3 meter boa can cross paths. Or a coati family brings the dog to freak out.

Mann wollte mit dem Hund gehen. Doch dann war da dieser Frosch.

Hier in Panama gibt es diese großen ekligen Frösche, die ein Nervengift versprühen, wenn man ihnen zu nahe kommt.

Ich hab schon Hunde davon minutenlang herumzappeln sehen. Sie kollabieren regelrecht, wenn die empfindliche Schnauze mit dem Gift in Berührung kommt.

Okay, also hab ich den Frosch kurz inklusive Fußmatte in den nächsten Busch befördert und bin dann mit dem Hund gegangen.

Natürlich kann einem hier in Panama gleich an der nächsten Ecke, eine 3 Meter Boa über den Weg laufen. Oder eine Nasenbär-Familie bringt den Hund zum ausflippen.
