Apple products have some cool features indeed. However, wathever Apple products I have owned had a tendency to break apart fairly soon. Had an iMac (back in the day, fat ones) that lasted about two years then some inside capacitors blew. Then had a Titanium around 2002 and by 2004 it had permanent hard disk failures. More recently (2017) I had a Macbook Air and it totally broke down a couple of months ago (main CPU got fried or something). Maybe I have just been unlucky, but I don't find Apple products very durable and if I want any repairs it sure costs a handsome buck. Never had an iPhone so I got no thoughts on that.
