RE: Emotional Video Game Moments: The Rage of Duck Hunt [Gaming]

Haha, this was really well done, you could have entered it in #comedyopenmic as well!

Did you know that your friend could actually control the duck using the second controller? For even more rage-inducing fun!

And don't knock all the Bible games :P I had a lot of fun with Exodus, Joshua, and even Spiritual Warfare, or as I like to call it, Zelda for people who weren't allowed to buy Zelda. But yeah, some of them were truly horrendous games.

Sort:

Wuuuuh!? You can control the ducks?! Maybe I forgot about this. I'm pretty sure that there was no way to make the ducks hold still. They always bounced around like pong balls over diagonal paths.

Yes, I am totally teasing about the Bible games. They weren't really that bad. They were ridiculously wholesome, and sometimes lost in translation how the characters and and story tied things together.

I think it was only the left and right buttons that would work to reverse directions, but yep, you could!

I actually really miss the basic gameplay mechanic of games like Exodus and Joshua. Not sure what it’s called, I guess quasi-platformer? You could walk freely in 2 dimensions, but it wasn’t a top-down view since there was still gravity. And it was side scrolling, but you could go left to right freely as well. Basically the levels were just puzzles with bad guys wandering around and you had to find the exit while avoiding getting stuck or killed.

This game looks like so much fun. Love the graphics.
