RE: Emotional Video Game Moments: The Rage of Duck Hunt [Gaming]
lol!!! loved this post bro!!!!!!!!!!!! i got duck hunt...with my first NES. that and gyromite!!!!! you brought sooo many memories back. thank you!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Never heard of gyromite. What kind of game was that?
remember some NES systems...came with ROB the robot? had a cool gyro...that would spin. the game.....lol...this fellow nerd lays out pretty well.
Forgot to tell you, I watched the entire video. You are are a crazy man. Thanks for playing around with me.
When I was a kid, nobody had the robot, except for one person. Any time one of his friends asked to play with it, he either claimed it was broken, or that it sucked so bad that he refused to let anyone try it out. I think it really traumatized him.
I always want to call it Robbie the Robot, but I guess that's some other guy.
I was always very sure that Nintendo was riding the back of Robbie the Robot's popularity to sell this piece of garbage toy. Still, it does make a fun desk ornament.
as far as the NES gun and games for that....i also had gumshoe lol!!! duck hunt and gumshoe! both caused me ulcers...trying to be them.
Oh my gosh this game looks like it would be a fun platformer, but the game mechanics look terrible. Having to aim the gun to shoot at him just to make him do a simple jump while foes flying at him also have to be shot at, looks really frustrating.
lol....totally frustrating...! it's amazing some us hung onto gaming....through some of these crappy games! they taught us patience....for gardening!!!!
lol...i just watched this whole video also. fascinating!
Actually, this is the long video I meant I watched. My goodness, they put a lot of work into this documentary. It took gamers a long time time to learn what this toy was really all about.
Next version of Nintendo will probably release a console that controls a robot that picks up your beer when you wear a helmet that reads your brainwaves. 🤖
