RE: Online ins Museum: KHM Wien / Museum from home: KHM Vienna

Dear Anna,
I read this yesterday, but was feeling under the weather and so waited until today to comment. First of all, it's wonderful to see you here--an Easter treat. How clever to do a virtual tour, and the links you offer will be a rich resource. I like especially the Bruegel paintings. Even though he painted hundreds of years ago, his work somehow seems modern.

Speaking of virtual experiences: today I caught the live performance of Andrea Bocelli from the Duomo di Milano. If you haven't seen it, the video is on YouTube. It's a great experience.

Happy Easter.

Your New York friend,

Dear AG,

I'm happy to be back here. The break has done me good, but I missed writing on the platform and interacting online with people. Now I just have to take care that the virtual world doesn't take up too much space in my life again.

I also like Bruegel very much. The love of detail in his genre pictures is enormous. I also appreciate the fact that he deals with the spiritual, political and religious developments of his epoch in his works.

Thanks for the Bocelli-tip. This will be my "Betthupferl" (bedtime highlight) tonight.

It's so nice to be in contact with you again!

All the best my dear friend in these difficult times.
Anna
