Whoa! I had no idea its almost been 2 weeks since I last posted 😅.

Between Valentine's Day, my daughter's 18th and the weather I've been a bit all over the place, flipping between flat out busy to catatonic.

And then there's the apathy.

Apathy

lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern.

synonyms: indifference, lack of interest, lack of enthusiasm, lack of concern, unconcern, uninterestedness, unresponsiveness, impassivity, passivity, passiveness

That kinda sums me up at the moment.

Don't know where it came from but its been with me all year. But I suspect all my failed d.tube uploads attributed to my blah approach to vlogging, and ultimately blogging; and of course the heat didn't help.

Even though I have tried to get creative over the last couple of months and attempted a few projects, I still feel "bleh" so I don't really know what's going on with me lately but I'm battling it at the moment.

Which brings me to my mandalas.

Mandalas

Originally the idea was to draw the mandala as the base for my crystal grid (still not done btw). Draw the mandala then glue or sew the crystals on the canvas ~ that was the plan.

But the flow took me elsewhere and I got carried away with the drawing part and completely neglected the grid bit.

This was my first go a couple of weeks ago.

You can kinda see where I planned for the crystals to go until I lost the plot and went rogue.

I should also say this recent mandala thing was inspired by the amazing @wildflowerjessi and the fantastic painting she gifted me for Christmas.

I have been trying my hand at acrylic pouring without much success and had a few pieces I wasnt happy about but thanks to Jessi I finally figured out what to do with them.

With my own twist since I don't henna.

And the twist is this..

Yesterday!

Maybe it's thanks to the Super Moon energy, or Chiron moving into Aries, whatever it is, I finally made a creative breakthrough and got back on the wave with these babies.

Compared to the first one, I reckon this newbie is heaps better, in so so many ways.

But wait! I couldn't stop there and started another canvas last night while we had a movie on. Since it was late and I was on an unstoppable wave, there's no progress or glowie shots for this one.

This morning I'm happy to say I'm feeling a little bit like my old self. (Oh the relief!)

I was planning on making orgonites this week (actually drew up pyramid plans and made coils yesterday) but I can feel how low my energy levels are so I'll be working on more mandalas today, using it as a means to rebalance myself before I dare touch crystals.

Well that's about it for me today. I wont promise a post for tomorrow but I am hoping for one :)
