Sea Turtle - Acrylic Painting

Images property of @terra.somnia.art

Is often when you picture a piece of art as a canvas full of millions of colors but art may be a scene with a reduced palette used masterfully, that is what @terra.somnia.art did in her piece called Sea Turtle an acrylic painting helped with some dashes of spraypaint here and there, she accomplished to capture the magic of the ocean painting the details in the surface of the water and adding flow and movement to the sea creatures, this is an underwater journey!

Images property of @terra.somnia.art

This piece was inspired by the fantasy artist Erica Kilbourn. You can find her artwork here: https://ericakilbourn.com/ Her paintings are in oil and I work with acrylics, but I wanted to achieve a similar look. My background was done with acrylic spray paint. Unfortunately, I don't have step-by-step pictures, because it was an experiment. :-) - @terra.somnia.art

With only a few weeks on Steemit this German artist is rapidly putting her name out there with a magnificent talent, her focus is on spiritual, animalistic and natural paintings with an esoteric vibe to all of them, of course, all of her paintings are infused with amazing quality, which assures everyone that she will grow in the blockchain pretty fast!

Do It Yourself - Installing a New Steering Wheel in your E46, E39, E38, E36, E53 BMW

Images property of @peterschroeter

The most efficient way to show love for the ones you love is taking care of them and in this post @peterschroeter is showing his love to his road companion, his BMW, and at the same time his made a tutorial post on how to replace the steering wheel of your BMW, he does it simple and with easy to follow instructions, the results are great the interior of the car changed for better, this was a well-deserved improvement!

Before providing a more general update on what's been happening on my faithful companion on the road to 400.000km I wanted to provide a tutorial for anyone wishing to replace or upgrade their steering wheel in any late 90s early 00s BMW. Driving older BMW cars can be a very rewarding experience and if you're like me you're probably driving the car a lot which means that all the surfaces you touch a lot like the steering wheel, shifter, handbrake handle and also the often neglected radio volume nob leading to high tear and wear on the plastic/leather. All in all, it doesn't look very appealing but what's even worse is the leather can no longer fulfill its original function so it doesn't warm your hands when it's cold and doesn't cool them when it's hot. Also, you have different surface characteristics along with the wheel and on the insides. Same applies to the shifter...- @peterschroeter

It's being two years since this author became part of our beloved community, he's been sharing a lot with us, his love for cars, his passion for photography and his talent as a 3D designer, he got a lot to share and is doing it constantly flooding our platform with eye-catching post a quality content!

The Results of 2+ Years of Wild Homesteading and Permaculture

Images property of @wildhomesteading

One of the simple pleasure in life is to work the land you own for you and your family, the following post in an excellent example of that where @wildhomesteading spent more than 2 years working, homesteading and transforming his house and surrounding to have a little piece of paradise for him and his loved ones, and darn he made it!

Back in September 2016 my wife and I purchased just under 3 acres of land just outside of Olympia Washington in the South Puget Sound. Our son was not even born yet and our land was mostly just old pasture and lawns. There was a nice cherry tree and a few ornamental areas that had been heavily neglected. Other than the cherry tree the only trees were scattered along the fence line and along the road. Plus there were some large blackberry patches to deal with (around 0.33 acres). After a ton of work, the place has really changed. My family has changed too. Today my son is over 2 and running around having a blast and enjoying exploring his world. My daughter who was born just over 2 weeks ago is just starting to explore her world. There is still a lot more work to do but the land has really changed. - @wildhomesteading

Joining Steemit the first month of this year Daron began to share all his knowledge about homesteading and permaculture with us at the same time he does in his blog at Wild Homesteading which started a few months early before joining our platform, in both blogs you'll find amazing tips and anecdotes that will help you in your journey to homesteading!

Going for a walk is always a nice experience but when you do that in a forest like the one in Albarracín, Spain you definitely have to take pictures as @constantshots rightfully did while taking a stroll through that wonderful place, he found himself surrounded with nature, mostly insects and flowers and the pictures of this post are witnesses of their beauty!

In November of last year, I and my girlfriend moved out of our room in a flatshare into a van to travel through Europe for an indefinite time. The primary goal was to go bouldering, sport climbing and hiking as much as possible. Surprisingly on this journey, I discovered a great passion for photography, of which I was totally unaware until that point. So in January, I bought my first DSLR (Canon EOS 50D) and started taking my first crappy photos xD
Since then it has been a fascinating, interesting and steady learning curve with composing, shooting and editing a great variety of photos. Because we had started a travel blog here on steemit I thought about starting a photography account as well. In this process, I discovered the Wednesday Walk here on Steemit. I loved the concept right away and wanted to participate. That's how I got to writing this post. - @constantshots

A somewhat new steemian who joined in February of this same year currently stay in Spain, his passion for photography can be seen through his blog and Instagram account, but the man is not just passion but talent and skill as well, you can see in each shot a very knowledgable photographer whose unique vision gets imprinted in every image he takes capturing his particular point of view!
