RE: The artists brain - it's ON

I could learn to knit but I hate doing anything where one minor mistake screws up the whole piece and I have no patience for unraveling the last 20 centimeters of any project I made only to redo it again. I love doing things where I can follow instinct and add or subtract and create as I go.

I'm here to tell you, as a knitter with fair bit of experience, this is completely not true! You CAN actually fix a wrong stitch, or even a dropped stitch, even if you've gone and done 20 centimeters before you notice the mistake. And once you are experienced enough, you can actually freehand a lot, that is what I do! No excuses, muahahah :P But felting is also soooooooooo therapeutic, so it's a great choice too, can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hahahaha - okay, maybe I pick up knitting later - I really tried, but something about knitting gets on my nerves :D I'm quite impatient and I guess I like seeing big results fast, which I can do if I start by laying out a 1x2 meters piece of fabric like in (Nuno) felting :D We'll see. I hope I can share some results with you soon :-) I love the touch of wool so knitting would make a lot of sense to me and I did fill a whole pinterest board with gorgeous sweaters to knit so...
