While walking through a shopping mall in the city, I saw a woman and other people approach this artist. They commissioned several paintings.
Mientras caminaba por un centro comercial de la ciudad, vi a una mujer y a otras personas acercarse a este artista. Le encargaron varias pinturas.
I bought a coffee and sat down to watch his way of working. I must say that this man has fantastic talent. I don't know if he pays for this place in the mall, but if so, the mall itself gains by having him there.
Compré un café y me senté a observar su forma de trabajar. Debo decir que este hombre tiene un talento fantástico. No sé si paga por este espacio en el centro comercial, pero si lo hace, el centro comercial se beneficia de tenerlo allí.
The painting he is painting seems to be almost finished. Well, I heard it when he was talking to the owner and he told him to come for the painting in the afternoon. It should be noted that I heard it unintentionally hahaha.

I think these people pay a percentage for that space, but look at the nice space they have to work in. It's probably better than being at home. I've seen some people posing for these people, and what beautiful paintings they make.

I am not sure if they pay to be in the mall. It's not like the market and if people pose I assume they also buy a drink or the family goes shopping.
The management of the different shopping centers charge fees when there are different events where people display their products, paintings, even some foods. As they say, a business is a business and must be profitable.
