Why I Create: The Art & Soul Behind My Work”

Introduction
Hello Steemit community!
I’m excited to begin my journey here and connect with fellow creators, thinkers, and dreamers. This is my very first post, and I want to share a little about why I create — through words, through art, through moments of silence that only poetry can fill.

The Artist Within
For me, creativity isn’t just a hobby — it’s survival. It’s how I make sense of the world, express emotions I can’t say aloud, and connect with people without even knowing their names. Whether it's sketching a raw feeling onto a page or shaping thoughts into poems, I create to stay human.

I don’t always know where my ideas come from. Sometimes, it’s a quiet walk. Sometimes, it’s heartbreak. Other times, it’s a strange dream I can’t forget. But no matter the source, I always end up back at the page.

Poetry: The Language of My Emotions
Poetry has been my shelter. Short, sharp verses. Soft, slow rhymes. Here’s a small piece I wrote recently — maybe it says more than this entire post:

“Stillness”
In silence, I find the brushstroke,
in sorrow, I find the rhyme.
My canvas is a whisper,
that only I hear in time.

I hope to share more pieces like this, and I’d love to read yours too.

Why Steemit?
I chose Steemit because I believe in the power of decentralized platforms — where creativity is rewarded, and community is built not by algorithms but by people.
If you're here reading this, thank you. I’m here to learn, to share, and to grow.

Questions for You
What inspires your creativity?

Do you also create when you’re hurting — or only when you’re healed?
