Hot sexy texture porn!

 Heyyo! Just wanted to share a few textures with you, because why not? Texture porn is a thing, as it seems that the word porn can now be used for anything nowadays...

Take this bark for example...BARK BARK!

Anyway, i wanted to spark a little discussion about textures, and what they mean to the world, and our ever studious eyes! As a photog, artist, and autist, i feel that textures are every bit as important as colors. They are a bit like garlic, too much and you could ruin your masterpiece, too little and your work might cross over into the dreaded territory of blandness...

Here we have some simple bricks with too much toothpaste between them. Simple yes, but that uneven toothpaste grabs your eye doesn't it? Textures do not have to be perfectly uniform to get your attention. There just needs to be some sort of pattern consistency. 

Then we have this here delicious gravel. Go ahead and drool over its perfectly uneven accidented perfection. So perfectly imperfect! Is it kitty litter? Is it rocks? Is it *insert whatever here*? Who cares, it looks cool!

Then we have these here twigs. I am not exactly sure if they qualify as a texture, but to my own eyes, they come pretty close. Let's just go with it. Moving on..

So ya, textures. They are fascinating, and pretty to look at. These are but a few samples of this heavily textured universe of ours! Sexy right? Ok, maybe textures are NOT as sexy as whatever you might call sexy, but dammit, they are important. If you removed them, the world would not look right, just think about that!

I have a healthy reverence for textures, and i tend to notice them everywhere i go. Maybe you might enjoy taking a closer look and studying them a bit more. In textures, there is math, in math, there is the entirety of all knowledge and wisdom in the universe. Looking at and studying textures, like many things, can stimulate our minds, and imaginations. 

And stimulation is ALWAYS sexy :D
