DESERT FLOWER. painting 2011
50x60cm. acrylic on canvas. Ibiza 2011.
This painting was one of the ones I did when I returned from my trip to California in 2011 and I travelled in Death Valley and Mojave desert fro a week that truly impressed me.
I was amazed by the micro life hidden in what looked like a hostile environment to live in. All these tiny insects and plants living off so little, such strong characters. This painting represented the magic I got from those little encounters.
