What a great process. I didn't know you could make a clay from roses at all so I've learnt something new.
At least now it make sense why they call them rosaries.
Yes, you can use the same process with most flower petals, and other plants if they are not too fiberish. Many come out brown though. The black comes from the acids in the rose petals reacting with the iron...so you can make other petals black by adding a squirt of lemon juice, or a few cranberries...
