My Neighbor Totoro (FanArt by @tegoshei)

Hello beautiful people on Steemit! I hope everyone's doing fine. ^^
Today, I am going to share my Totoro fanart which I did finish last night but couldn't upload here. So yeah, I am going to include the whole process below, so I hope you enjoy it.

Originally, I just wanted to color it with colored pencils, but I wanted it to look smoother, so I decided to blend them with a paintbrush. As promised, let me show you the process.

Yesterday, I showed the sketch and lineart... if you missed it, let me share it here again.

















After completing the lineart, I decided to start coloring it using watercolor pencils. I didn't really like it, so I immediately used a paint brush and water to blend in the color. I'm using sketchpad, so the result isn't as good as in a watercolor paper, but still it's better than just colored pencils. I guess, I have to practice using just colored pencils again. hahaha~ I have to find my coloring book... xD














In the past, I settle for plain backgrounds, but now, I find it interesting to put some simple backgrounds just to put more life on the drawing... and so I did. :D

Slowly, I'm getting back on track. I will try to sketch something today, too. Well, I have a long day at work today... but I'll do my best to insert scribbling something. :)
