I'll agree with you on this one working better than the colored -n version; it's more stark and therefore more striking. Best of luck with the evolution of your art. I think of Wilde's line about having spent the weekend putting a comma in, and then taking it out :)

Thank you for the feedback! I see the same thing. it's done :]
and what is Wilde's line? that sounds magical, I've read The Picture of Dorian Gray by him and I am scared to read something else, one heart break a year.

Yes, @tetsuo, Wilde can be a heart-breaker! Here is an essay of mine on the man and his art:
http://www.cerisepress.com/02/06/wilde-more-lives-than-one/view-all I hope you enjoy it :)

hi,
I haven't had the chance to read it yet, but I will soon. :)
I stopped reading Dorian because I had a feeling it is going to end in a tragedy, and at that point I had fallen in love with the characters and I hated and loved Dorian and did not want to see what happened to him.

but, everyone in a way got what they deserved.

You have good instincts, @tetsuo, and you should trust them :)

I could have saved myself some heartache by putting down Dorian, too. Yes, everyone did get what they deserve, as you say (including Wilde, some would argue)!

At the risk of bombarding you, here is another Wilde essay that I recently posted on Steemit - bigger and deeper - where I contrast him with that other Great Contrarian (and tragic figure) Nietzsche: https://steemit.com/blog/@yahialababidi/the-twin-souls-of-oscar-wilde-and-friedrich-nietzsche

My heart and soul is in this post & I hope you enjoy it -when you find the time. Nahar Sa'eed :)

hey man,
I love it. Thanks for pointing my attention to it, I am fascinated by the life of authors and I love that you are interested in it and putting your energy into your passion :)

I will see you there.

Really grateful for your attention and encouragement!

Since you appreciate the lives of authors, here's a shorter piece on another literary hero of mine, Susan Sontag: https://steemit.com/story/@yahialababidi/on-the-birthday-of-literary-heroine-susan-sontag-an-appreciation

Cheers, Yahia
