I have CC version, but I prefer CS4 instead, it just runs a lot quicker and smoother for me.
Since you already use illustrator, you'll be making the same airbrush look in no time at all! XD
I can´t install the new ones because my laptop is Mac Os X 10.7.5 with 4 gb of ram : / maybe one day I will buy a better hardware :D lol
