I Sold My Painting Last Night.
Great Day Steemians and Art Lovers, 🤗
Last night was the exhibition day after the 10 days workshop and it was really a worthy experience, I met lots of people who actually love my artwork (the portraiture I've been sharing here), the piece just caught so many people's attention yesterday night and I also gave it quite a controversial title (Sugar Daddy).
Sugar Daddy, as sweet as it sounds, in my immediate environment, almost anyone referred to as a Sugar Daddy is first of all an elderly man who is believed to be having a romantic or sexual affair with a female old enough to be his daughter but in my painting, I decided to capture Sugar Daddy as an elderly man who has refused to let go some of his youthful habits or activities and in this painting, I decided to highlight that with the earring the man is putting on.
I gifted Professor. Wouter Steel a portrait gift cause he really impacted me with so much during the workshop.
