My Most Recent Exhibition......

Good Day Friends,
I've been away for about two weeks and that was due to my realities offline which I couldn't deny, not to bore with all that happens, my exhibition was the last thing I shared about here before I disappeared, so the exhibition went on as planned but I wasn't really feeling like myself on the opening day of the exhibition.

I had five of my canvas works on display, the exhibition was themed "Remember When?", it was erupted to make viewers and art lovers to reach out to their memories of childhood in Nigeria, the things that were common amongst children and within african homes many years ago where used as sources of inspirations to create the master pieces for exhibition, even though I wasn't really myself, the exhibition did housed lots of nostalgic memories.

This was one of my pieces that highlights children's love for comic (graphical stories) in the magazines and newspapers before the advent of smartphones.

This was also my piece and it portrays a young boy who had gone to play perhaps football (without the consent of his Mama) and got injured, now coming back home to seek sympathy instead of getting punished.

This very pieces tells the story of a mother buying her son an oversized shoe and pleading with him to have it and also convincing him that he would grow into in whereas the mother actually got him that very oversized shoes so he could use it for many years.

This was one of my favourite from the show, the piece tells a story of what I've head from many elderly people, they said, there was a time that one could also gain admission into elementary school only when his or her left hand can touch his or her right ear, I find that just so funny.

These mini architectural sculptures are also part of the exhibition and I did find them very fascinating!
That's all I've got to say about the exhibition for now, I'll try my best to stay in touch, real life is becoming so demanding and too real lately but I'm sure I'll be fine!
