Trees & Figures

What if there's still paint left?
I decided to use the red to paint the canvas with a brush. Thecolour I created with the red I have, a bit of nlack and water.
The canvas is primed 3x
Size: 30 x 40 cm
After I quickly painted yhe canvas red I dripped fluid paint (acrylic paint + water) on the top and let it drip down. Next Inadded a few more colours.
Although, the yellow looked smooth and fluid there were some lumps in it so I kind of regretted I used it. I decided to throw away what is left.
A bit disappointed I left to work.
That evening it looked better than expected and this morning it looked awesome as I held it against the lamp (light). The light shines through the canvas/red background.
My child saw the trees at once and as she saw it against the light she said: There are people between the trees.
The great thing of this technique is you can piur or let it drip and once dry it's time to study what is shown.
Using fluid paint is relaxing and the best of it is it goes fast, especially if you have paint ready to pour. Instead of stirring I shake it in the plastic bottles (saved from lunch packages).

Just the red I used a brush, the rest is water, fluid paint and let it drip.
Good technique and it turned out very well.
Thank you so much.
A great weekend.

wow it's amazing. it looks like my painting (Pouring acrylic)
And one important thing I’ve learned as an artist is to always give the painting some time. While painting, sometimes it’s good to step away, take a break, and then come back with fresh eyes. Even after finishing, if you leave it for a while and look again later, you’ll often see it differently each time. It’s like music — sometimes we hear a song for the first time and don’t like it, but later in another moment or mood we fall in love with it. So don’t be afraid, and don’t be upset if the result doesn’t feel perfect right away. We can always try again and again, and sometimes the painting we think is “bad” can actually be the one that helps us discover our true style and artistic voice. Keep going, you’re doing amazing and I wish you all the success on your artistic journey.
