This is a Fringe Lily (Thysanotus multiflorus). You will find one in my orchid series #23

It has more than 3 petals and it has leaves growing along the stem and its pollen system is in two parts and not in a column like an orchid. I just love the tassely fringe - so delicate. Now when you see these there is a chance there will be hyacinth orchids nearby - they flower at the same time of the year (about now for us down South).
