My honest opinion, the only good thing with Bakkt is - if these whale investors keep holding BTC, then price of BTC goes up. As a investor, for short time its good news.
As a crypto enthusiast, its not great news because a 3rd party would store private keys of BTC which contradicts the purpose for which BTC was made.

And after these guys hold... and things initiate, I am not sure if because adoption of BTC increases so prices will...as investor for now Bakkt is good news , don't know for how long though.
