The Balcony

The balcony has been covered with concrete with wires cut along its base. There are also lights that are set out on the outside of the balcony to draw people in.

The fire came within minutes of burning down a second row of seats on the second floor of the building.

The building is a former hotel used by the Royal College of Surgeons. It used that hotel to house hospital staff and patients.
