WATCH: Baltimore removes Confederate statues overnight
Two days after the Charlottesville violence, the Mayor of Baltimore, Catherine Pugh, instigated the overnight removal of four Confederate statues in an effort to protect the people of Baltimore.
A rally in Charlottesville on 12 August, turned violent with one person dead and 19 injured when a group of nationalists against the removal of Confederate statues clashed with a counteractive group of protesters.
