History of Nayabad Mosque
The history of this Mosque is very glorious for muslim specially for our district. The mosque was built in the 18th century. This mosque was built in 1793. The king of that time hired people from the Persian kingdom to build the Kantaji Temple in Dinajpur. I posted a review of that temple a few days ago, the link of which I have shared with you. Some of the construction workers were of Islamic faith. So they built a mosque for themselves a little away from the Kantaji Temple and started worshipping there. Muslim workers started living around this mosque. And this is how this mosque has been functioning since then and today everyone around the mosque offers their prayers in this mosque.

This mosque has been built on 1.15 bighas of land. This mosque has a total of 3 domes. The most important information is that it is an archaeological site listed by the Bangladesh Department of Archaeology. It is built with bricks, terracotta, and tiles.
There are three main gates to enter the mosque. There are also three similar designs on the three domes of the mosque. I do not know what they are called. Most likely they are called minarets. There are two more minarets on the two pillars on both sides of the mosque and there are designs on the outer walls of the entire mosque. There are two windows on each side of the north and south walls of the mosque, one each. This mosque is painted white sometimes.

The space inside the mosque is relatively small. It is painted white inside and some beautiful designs have been made inside. Electricity has been provided inside for the convenience of offering prayers.
There is a grave on the left side of the entrance gate of the mosque. Whose grave it is is not written anywhere, but it is believed that it may be the grave of the construction worker of this mosque. The grave is also marked with terracotta.

Various tourists come to see this mosque, so there is a tourist camp for them. Apart from the tourist camp, there are small benches to sit on all sides of the mosque. In addition, lighting has also been provided for the night. There are some beautiful trees here, especially two coconut trees, and a variety of ornamental plants.
Some Facts of this Temple
There is a newly prepared donation box in the mosque. It is very beautifully done and painted white here. Financial support is taken from the tourists who come here, through which various maintenance expenses of the mosque are met and renovated. Donation collect from this donation box once inmonthn and I have no idea how much donation they gwt from here.
Greeny environment will touch your heart. Parking area, ornamental plants, walking lane features are awesome.
