hmm being there done that, on both sides of the whip, but to answer your question, what hits me for the most is not old castles or knights and dragons, but the everyday stuff. I mean things that we encounter and see everyday that unexpectedly has a sinister turn. For me it works for horror, drama, comedy or #nsfw stuff. I dont know why..but the answer is no. It would not catch my interest.

A cop however, instead taking the poor woman or guy to the station, the officer goes in the wood. Creepy and not so implausible.

Situations like that would interest me.
