We visited Moruya River Park and enjoyed the scenery with our local coworker and my wife, and found all on-site facilities wonderful.

The Park is situated in the Moruya township next to the swimming pool and is close to the markets and good for large outdoor events. The best part is although the park is close to the market but it has large off-street parking.

ᴹᵒʳᵘʸᵃ ᴿᶦᵛᵉʳˢᶦᵈᵉ ᴾᵃʳᵏ ᴺˢᵂ ᴱⁿᵗʳᵃⁿᶜᵉ

Most Australian park management understand how people use such facilities so does Moruya Riverside Park and manage and create connected spaces which come good to the needs of visitors.

We were impressed the way the locals were enjoying boating and walking with their dogs.

They have a swimming pool, heated spa, BBQ facilities, jumping pad, tennis court and playground.

There is even an onsite recreation room available for those who would like to stay indoors and bond over some friendly board games.

Moruya Riverside Park supports high levels of public use, organizes events, and recreation activities.

This park is well planned and have a large number of plants besides having a lot of open area on the banks of the Moruya River.

As you can see the Moruya Riverside Park has a playground including excersingig equipment and beautifully developed walking paths.

This park has lovely and specially designed permanent seating arrangement.

As we were booked in another even around 17 km away we missed Moruya Riverside Park which organizes Moruya Country Markets, held on every Saturday morning.

These weekly markets and feature local products such as crafts, and food. they also organize other events such as Moruya Jockey Club racing and the Sage Farmers Market in the park area regularly on weekends.

ᴹᵒʳᵘʸᵃ ᴿᶦᵛᵉʳˢᶦᵈᵉ ᴮᵒᵃᵗᶦⁿᵍ ᶜˡᵘᵇ

Moruya Country Markets every Saturday morning.
where fresh produce, books, homemade goods, arts and crafts, refreshments and even clothing are available.

Atmosphere of this park always lively and visitors friendly where local community takes active part and musicians from the locals display their talent and of course the smell of food is another attraction.

ᴹᵒʳᵘʸᵃ ᴿᶦᵛᵉʳˢᶦᵈᵉ ᵂᵃʳⁿᶦⁿᵍ ˢᶦᵍⁿˢ

Let me come to the main attraction Moruya Riverside park, at the banks of the Moruya River is one of the main attraction for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and boating.

ᴹᵒʳᵘʸᵃ ᴿᶦᵛᵉʳˢᶦᵈᵉ ᴮᵒᵃᵗᶦⁿᵍ ᴶᵉᵗᵗʸ

One can have direct access from the park’s public and private boat ramps and launch right into adventure.

Fishing is another attraction as my local coworker told he often comes to the river cast a line right from the shore or set off for a day of boating and enjoys fishing.

Another activity at this point is kayaking and Paddle boarding along scenic riverbanks and also bird-watching.

The expert boaters sail right up to where the river meets the ocean, the Shelly Beach. There are other popular activities in Moruya Riverside Park but due to shortage of time our activities were limited to sitting and walking at Moruya boat ramp in Riverside Park.

ᴹᵒʳᵘʸᵃ ᴿᶦᵛᵉʳˢᶦᵈᵉ ᴷᵃʸᵃᵏᶦⁿᵍ

I can tell you that if you're looking for a peaceful morning on a fun day or a fishing session, the Moruya Riverside Park is just the right place.

The park and market are dog friendly provided dogs on leash.

The Moruya Riverside Park is well equipped with picnic tables, swings, and slides

The best part is that the park is right in the middle of Moruya town so visitors can enjoy the best eating facilities within walking distance

Our preferred eating place in this place is where all meal types including Asian and Continental, Non vegetarian, Vegetarian, Vegan options are available.
