This is occurring in almost all regions, including the beloved city of Lhokseumawe. Therefore, a place for recreation and other activities is urgently needed for city residents. City parks, besides beautifying an area, also play a crucial role in urban spatial planning. They can provide much-needed green open space and help maintain a balance between development and the urban environment.

Lhokseumawe, a densely populated and developing region, also needs a suitable city park. Once nicknamed the "Petrodollar City," this city has long had an iconic city park, Riyadhah Park. The park, located at the entrance to Lhokseumawe City, is located on Jalan Merdeka, Gampong Kuta Blang, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City. Riyadhah Park is easily accessible by various modes of transportation, both public and private. From the direction of Banda Aceh City, once you arrive at the Cunda Malacca Strait intersection, head straight towards the center of Lhokseumawe city, which is only about one kilometer away.

The serene and cool atmosphere is immediately felt upon entering the park, even in hot weather. Riyadhah Park is filled with angsana trees, whose blooming and falling flowers add to the spring atmosphere. Riyadhah Park is open 24 hours a day, so visitors can enjoy the park at their leisure. Admission is free, so visitors can enjoy it at any time. It is also easily accessible, located on the main road leading to downtown Lhokseumawe. Riyadhah Park plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance of Lhokseumawe by providing green open space that helps mitigate the negative impacts of urbanization.

Riyadhah Park, which has now been completely renovated, also features stepping stones for therapy and reflection. This city park is an ideal place for gatherings with family or friends. However, parking, especially for four-wheeled vehicles, is a bit challenging due to its limited space. Perhaps the city government needs to reconsider providing adequate parking. For park visitors, it is highly expected that they will show concern for maintaining the cleanliness and that Riyadhah Park be greened, such as by planting green grass on the base and adding other green plants.
