Thailand and Cambodia exchanges artillery near ancient temples. Fighting continued across eight hotspots along disputed frontier.Both countries are mobilising troops
threatening retaliation and raising fears of a wider regional crisis.

At the main reason of the conflict are old colonial era maps and rival claims to temple complexes. Though the international court of justice ruled in Cambodia's
favour in 1962 and 2013. Cambodia's latest appeal to the international court of justice in 2025 has rejected by Thailand.

Thailand military purchasing modern arms from the US and Europe. Cambodia have Chinese made weaponry.
