Holy place #13 - "District Sadar Zame Mosque, Tangail."

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen. Welcome to steem-atlas. Today I came to take entries for this Contest! 1001 Holy Places on the Steem Atlas Map #13) Atlas Contest organized in this community. Thank you to our respected ambassador @miftahulrizky for organizing such a wonderful contest.

This model mosque is located in the middle of Tangail District city. Although this mosque is in every district of Bangladesh, the name of this mosque is Tangail District Sadar Jame Mosque. Since it is in the middle of Tangail city, all the busy people of the city come to this mosque to offer their prayers. Whenever I go to Tangail city, I pray in the mosque at any time and my mind becomes peaceful. From a distance, you can see the complete view of its exterior.

If you want to go to this mosque, first you have to come to Tangail New Bus Stand. Then from there you have to take an auto rickshaw and enter the District Gate and come to the District Mosque. There is a huge staircase in front of the mosque. When you go up the stairs, you will notice incredibly beautiful craftsmanship on the left and right sides of the mosque.

This craftsmanship has been done with marble stone. Several crores of taka have been spent on the construction of this mosque, which was made by a foreign project. The left and right sides of the mosque have been covered with blue glass. And if you look at the front, the original door is made of wood and has glass windows on both sides. At the top of the mosque, it says District Sadar Jame Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center, Tangail.

Then when you enter inside, the first thing you will notice is the veranda. There is a veranda in front of the mosque where people are praying. There are two main doors in the balcony through which you have to enter the mosque. You will see various Islamic supplications written on the wall above the balcony. There are several large doors in front of the veranda which are made of high quality wood.

Hundreds of people are praying inside. Some are resting because there are many busy people in the city who come to the mosque to find peace. The floor you see has a black mark on it where you stand to pray. The tiles on the floor are of very high quality.

Since it is a place of worship, people of all classes come here to pray and express their happiness and sorrow to the Creator. For this reason, such a large space has been kept so that people feel comfortable. A sophisticated lighting system has been used there so that people can pray peacefully. You will notice many fans there that are spinning at high speed to give people a cool feeling from the heat. Apart from this, there is an air conditioning system here in the afternoon which cools down the entire mosque.

Besides, if you feel thirsty after visiting that mosque, then there is a drinking water facility there. You will get fresh mineral water from there which is in a specific box. You can call it a safe water tank. The drinking water is very clean. There are electrical lines which are very secure and there are speakers so that Islamic talks reach the ears of the people. High quality air conditioning is set there.

At the beginning, you have to leave your shoes outside and enter. If you want, you can keep your shoes outside the mosque. However, if you feel like taking your shoes inside to save them, there is a special arrangement for keeping shoes inside as well. You can see in this picture that many shoes are kept in one place, this is the place to keep shoes.

On the left and right sides of the mosque, there is a room that says ablution room and washroom. There you can do ablution before prayer and there are several bathrooms where you can use the toilet. The water kept there is very clear and clean. There is a huge and clean basin next to the bathroom, there is enough soap for washing hands.

Since it is the largest model mosque in a city, it has a hard security system. There are big signboards and papers in every place of the mosque that this mosque is always controlled by CCTV cameras. This means that there are CCTV cameras in every place of this mosque so that no one can steal anything. There is also a warning written on the paper that while going up to the mosque, do not put shoes in the flower garden from the garden next to it.

I think the mosque committee has made a very good arrangement to write this notice. I took some pictures of the CCTV cameras inside the mosque. There are also CCTV cameras outside the mosque and there is a huge 360-degree CCTV camera on the main gate. This arrangement has been made for the convenience of the people.

Let's take a look at the arrangements outside the mosque. If any of you are bringing a vehicle or a motorcycle, there is a parking lot on the right side of the mosque. Where you can park your vehicle with complete security. I think it is very safe to park a motorcycle here because there is always a person sitting here. The place is in a very quiet environment where your vehicle will be very safe. I thank the mosque committee very much.

After finishing the parking area, you visited the entire mosque. I think you liked this mosque. You can always come to this mosque and spend your peaceful moments. I was inside this area at night too and I waited till night to see the night view. Then I came at night and saw that the lighting system in the mosque is very good. I captured the night view of this mosque at 9 pm in my own picture.

So this was the description of our mosque. I took pictures of everything and tried to highlight all the sections so that you can understand. I have shown you all the steps to spend time and pray here from start to finish, I hope you all can understand. There is a committee in this mosque that meets once a month, although I was not lucky enough to attend that meeting. In that meeting, various developmental works of the mosque are discussed. This mosque receives donations of one to one and a half lakh taka every month.

If I calculate it annually, then this mosque receives donations of 12 to 15 lakh taka or 9600-1200 USD annually. Those who love the Creator mainly donate to help people. No ticket is required to enter this mosque. Once a year, an Islamic cultural program is held in this mosque. This is the only model mosque in Tangail city that has become known to everyone from a religious point of view. So I presented it to you.
