Pratappur Zamindar House.

Today, there is a very interesting place in our neighborhood, which is the Pratappur Zamindar House. I will share that place with you and give you some historical information about this place. So without going into the introduction, let's start directly.

The palace that I am going to share today is located in the Pratappur area. And it was built on 13 acres of land between 1850 and 1860 by two landowners, Rajkrishna Saha and Ramnath Krishna Saha. These palaces were built by these two and there were ten buildings here. Again, there were 13 ponds in this entire palace, out of which five pond ghats were paved, and the rest were already there.

In other words, no one else had such a big house in the entire area. Since such a big house in 13 acres of land is not possible for everyone. Again, it was possible to do it by two landowners together. However, I have heard from people that its architect was from 1850 to 1860. Some say that this palace was built much earlier. Since I heard from most people that it was between 1850 and 1860, that's why I wrote that.

The landlords of this landlord house were very influential. They were very influential in terms of money, due to which everyone in the entire area was afraid of them. At that time, they were living there freely. However, when the monarchy was abolished, their descendants still lived here until 1996.

But at one time they had to leave here. And I heard from people that they had left for India with their families and descendants. And when the descendants of the landlords left, these buildings were just lying there. Sometimes the locals would go around and see the palace.

Since the descendants of the king left, no one had occupied it, it was lying like this. Many years passed and many plants grew in the buildings of this house, creating a horrible atmosphere inside. And it became uninhabitable and the buildings became risky. It could collapse at any time.

However, when you enter the buildings, you can see that the iron used in the railway line is used to make the structure with iron and wood. However, the pieces of cement or bricks are breaking and falling apart. And this is quite common for everyone to see. Meanwhile, the descendants of the king did not come, due to which people gradually went there to wander around.

However, in this spooky environment, in the jungle, it took a different form in everyone's mind and it became a tourist place. Even though it was very scary at night, it was risky to go there at night. However, suddenly after many years, the descendants of the king would organize a fair there. Once every year they would come and organize the fair.

There would be such a beautiful fair for the entire locality, but after the fair, the descendants of the king would leave there again and stay like this for a whole year. However, when the descendants of this king came to attend the fair or organize the fair, a new room was prepared for them. Since everything has become uninhabitable, they have arranged for all their belongings and accommodation there.

They organized the fair in this way for a few years, later the descendants of the king also left there forever after being persecuted by the people of that area. And the descendants of the king used to leave some belongings in the new house there. Since the theft in that house, the descendants of the king have not come here.

The fair that used to be held every year has been closed. Now only the buildings are in a risky condition and there are many big trees growing inside the building. If you go to that house, you will see the buildings in a neat condition. Some are falling apart in pieces. Some are in a condition that will collapse.

But now it has completely become a tourist place. People go there and shoot different kinds of things. They create ghost dramas and create different kinds of activities by going to this house. And currently, the situation has become such that the locals have put up gates there. So that people cannot enter all the time.
