Sabana Swalayan, Favorite Shopping Place for Housewives

I visited Sabana Swalayan on April 21, 2025, and I visited again on April 27 to complete some of the latest information. Sabana Swalayan is located on Jalan Listrik, Tumpok Teungoh Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province. Sabana is not a large supermarket but a combination of three shophouses that are combined into a traditional mini market that is always busy with buyers.

At first glance, the face of this supermarket building does not look so luxurious and attractive, but make no mistake, this supermarket has been famous since the 1990s and is one of the favorite shopping centers for Lhokseumawe city residents to shop for a large number of daily necessities. In addition to its strategic location and easy access, Sabana Swalayan still maintains the traditional transaction style or culture of bargaining for goods which is an attraction to encourage most buyers to hesitate to move to grocery stores or other modern markets along Jalan Listrik - Pasar Inpres.

Like a grocery store, the large number of goods sold at Sabana Swalayan can almost certainly meet all daily needs, especially food needs, such as basic necessities, sausages / nuggets, snacks, drinks, baby needs, cleaning tools, cosmetics, perfume and other household and personal needs.

Another advantage of this supermarket is the availability of various types of branded generic medicines to relieve various minor illnesses such as coughs, flu, fever, diarrhea, toothache relievers and several other types of medicines, as well as various types of herbal medicines and vitamins such as antangin, black honey and kuma essence.

• Can exchange / return expired goods
• Can interact directly with the waiters about the products/items you want to buy
• Free parking fees

Lack :

• Narrow parking area
• Service is less than optimal due to the small number of employees
