This is how we celebrated my daughter birthday
This weekend was full of blessings, joy, and moments that will remain etched in our hearts. I want to share with you a very special celebration for our family: the 22nd birthday of our youngest daughter, Maria Daniela.
Her day began early with responsibilities: she had to go to the university to process the registration code for the next semester. Despite it being her birthday, she took on her commitments with maturity and enthusiasm, which fills us as parents with pride.
At noon, she asked her dad and me to take her to lunch—Chinese food—her favorite. We didn't hesitate for a second. Seeing her smile while she enjoyed her favorite dish was the best gift for us. Sometimes, the small gestures are the ones that mean the most.
The afternoon brought unexpected rain that made us think our family might not be able to join us. But as if the heavens also wanted to celebrate, the rain stopped just for a while. Little by little, our loved ones arrived, and the house was filled with laughter, hugs, and that warmth that only family can provide.
But what really touched our hearts were the gifts from her nephews, who affectionately call her "their princess aunt." They brought her flowers and a beautiful portrait. The expression of happiness on her face was indescribable. There are no words that can capture the emotion of feeling so loved.
