Butterflies Series: Indomalayan and Common Sailor
Coming back with some pics of two typical butterflies that I took from different locations and time. Their playground is around the bushes. The day I came, all these butterflies were moving quite a lot, flying here and there and making a shortstop on the wild plants. I had little chance to take their photos and needed some time to adjust to the light and speed. This butterfly has a very interesting color but it also became aggressive during the daylight, which made me wait for some time to take its photo. This butterfly can be sometimes seen fluttering over the ground and the dried wood It can be identified by having dark orange and black strip with strikingly beautiful markings. This butterfly is a fast flyer, and to get its pictures I had to wait for some time until it really made a stop on this wildflower. They fly in short bursts and flutters close to the ground. They usually bask with half-open wings and prefer shade to the sun. As I used DSLR, it might allow me to shoot from a distance range and this could make it feel safe.
