Land-loving Fish (Mudskipper)
It was running here and there and hiding in the mud. It really gave me hard time to take its pictures, but I did not give up easily. I tried to chase to where it went, until I finally found it while it made a very quick rest on muddy ground. Mudskipper used to be seen roaming the muddy swamps and rivers along tropical and subtropical regions in Africa, Australia and Asia, mudskipper (family Oxudercinae) is land-loving fish that can spend as much time, if not more, on land as they do in water. To combat drowning, mudskippers tend to spend their days perched on mangrove roots and rocks searching for their next meal of insects, small crustaceans and worms, all while maintaining a hydrated coat of mud. The mudskipper is adorned with two bulging eyes atop its head.
